Property Damage Claim Recovery Process
When you hire us to handle your property damage claim, we will contact your insurance company to let them know that we will be taking care of your claim and will be the only point of contact from this point forward. Then, the claim recovery process begins. There are four phases of this process.
Investigation Phase
We will thoroughly inspect your property. This includes taking photos, measurements, and field notes that will help us recover your claim.
We will guide you in completing an inventory of your belongings and property that are included in your claim. We will also determine the depreciation, replacement cost, and actual cash value of your damaged property, as well as how much money you should recover.
As we investigate your claim, we will gather information and build a file of documents that will help us recover your claim. This includes requesting documents from your insurance company.
Estimation Phase
We will use the information we have gathered to prepare a report that covers the full scope of your loss, and we will submit this report to your insurance company.
Negotiations Phase
Your insurance company will offer you a settlement. If you don’t agree with this settlement, we will begin negotiations.
We will communicate with your insurance company to discuss any disputed property damages and make every attempt possible to resolve your claim.
If we are unable to reach a suitable resolution with your insurance company, we will help you choose the dispute resolution option that is best for you. This may involve a demanded appraisal or litigation, depending on your specific situation.
Accounting Phase
If your insurance company agrees to a suitable resolution, your insurance company will send us a check. We will invoice you for 10% of the settlement amount, and we will release funds to you after payment is made.
We are not authorized to work with your mortgage company, so if your mortgage company is listed on the check, you will be responsible for getting the appropriate endorsement.
When your property damage claim has been settled, you will then have the money you need to repair or replace what was lost.

Here is what people are saying about
OnPoint Claim Recovery.
“I wanted to write this letter of recommendation for OnPoint Claim Recovery after you have provided such great results for my family. As if going through a tornado that destroyed most of the houses on our street wasn’t enough, it didn’t take long to realize that the fight with insurance would be that much worse.
Once you came on board to help us, we consistently saw progress with the insurance company. You were able to get us recovery we needed to fully restore our property. Perhaps even more valuable was the face that you shielded my wife and me from the constant, many months-long headache in dealing with the stubborn insurance company.
I fully recommend you and your company to help families like mine restore damaged property with the rightful insurance coverage for which we have been paying. Thanks again!”
